Travis Allen

June 8, 1989 — January 3, 2022

On January 3rd, 2022, Travis Allen left this world, he was needed elsewhere to share the un-ending amount of love he had. This word is not a sad, or terrible place because he's gone. This world is so much more bright, full of love and laughter because Travis was in it.

He was undoubtedly the animal whisper. From leopard geckos, ball pythons, all the cats and dogs, bunnies, sugar gliders, his beloved ferret, Skin, there was never an animal that didn't adore Travis.

It's been rumored that he might have been part fish. He loved the ocean, scuba diving, all the sea creatures and critters. "Fish are friends, NOT food" was a recurring statement when asked if he wanted to try seafood. He'd never admit that he thought crab cakes were pretty good, though.

He loved snowboarding, the snow in general, adventures in the mountains, coffee ice cream, BLTs with no mayo, any Mark Wahlberg movie (especially Transformers), Adidas shirts and hoodies, his Volkswagen, Vlad. Lazy days with daytime TV, His Papa taught him to shoot trap and skeet, which was something he was proud of and loved to do. He loved to watch the stars, and listen to just about any music. He loved his friends and would do just about anything for them. A lifelong Buccaneers fan, he loved spending Sundays watching any game with his Dad.

He loved to love.

He leaves behind his loving, and always supportive mother, Maryette; His father Greg, who always reminded him to "hydrate" and "focus"; Tyler, his older brother. Though, Travis would argue he's always been the better looking son; Graham, his nephew that he just adored and loved to watch grow; Desiree, his person, back-haver, his moo.

There are simply not enough words to convey the amount of light and love Travis brought into this world. Be good to each other.
