Vada Vire (Williams) (Kiser) Forsberg passed away early Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Villa Manor Nursing Home in Lakewood, Colorado.
The daughter of John Bell Williams and Bessie Opal (Rice) Williams was born on January 19, 1922 at Pocahontas, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sada Maxine and two brothers, Orvis and Arden Thomas.
Vada married William Kiser in April of 1941 and to this union two children were born, Beverly Lavone and Brenda Margaret. William Kiser preceded her in death on March 23, 1963.
She later married Elof G. Forsberg, and the couple were married for 42 years.
Vada received Christ into her life at age 16 and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church at the time of her death.
She leaves behind her husband, Elof Forsberg, of the home; two daughters, Beverly Lavone Harrison, of Cabool, Missouri; Brenda Tuck and husband, Daniel, of Lee's Summit, Missouri; one step-son, Gary Forsberg and wife Penny, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and one step-daughter, Sandra Vardine and her husband, Vincent, of Troy, New York. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great granddaughters; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation, Monday, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM; Funeral Services, Tuesday, 11:30AM, both from the Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapels. Interment following at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area / Shelter "A" at 1:00PM.
