Vera R. Oakeley was born March 3, 1921 and passed on April 25, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Patrick; two daughters, Patricia (Joe) Madrid and Louisa (Aurelio) Madrid; grandchildren: Timothy Madrid, Edward (Marie) Madrid, Jeanette Prince, Gary Madrid, Elviria (Edward) Romero and Aurelio (Sam Biegelsen) Madrid. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Jasman (Steven) Pacheco, Isaac Prince, Steven Prince, Gabriel Romero, Alyssa Romero, Nathaniel Romero and Elijah Romero; three sisters, Julia Gutierrez, Angie Pinon and Lorena Cano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 5:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226.
Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 2559 S. Federal Blvd., Denver, CO 80219. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
