Vera Welham

Vera Ione Welham was born November 3, 1933 and joined her Heavenly Father on May 25, 2005 after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by son Ferron Welham, father Lester Dodge, and brother Mark Dodge. Vera is survived by her husband of 53 years Jack Welham, sons Elton Welham, Rod (Jeanne) Welham and Corvin (Denise) Welham, mother Lorene Dodge, brothers Bill (Bessie) Dodge and Don (Pat) Dodge, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood; funeral service will be held at Riverside Baptist Church in Denver, CO, Saturday, 10 AM. Interment will follow at 2 PM in Johnstown Cemetery, Johnstown, Colorado.
