Vernita Ellen (Morris) Wild

Vernita Ellen (Morris) Wild was born in Chillicothe, Missouri in 1932 and passed away August 14, 2024. Born in the middle of the Depression, she was the 10th child of 10 kids, and grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri. Vernita married Richard Wild in 1958 and went on to have 4 children, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Vernita was devoted to her family throughout her life and passed away peacefully at home, being cared for by her granddaughter, Kyria (Wild) Bueno. Her loving devotion lives on in her children Suzanne Mann, Ernest Wild, Ellen Wild, Richard Wild, all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor but most of all for being the foundation to the family.
