She worked for the Federal Government, at the Denver Federal Center, as a claims examiner supervisor for the coal miners who contracted Black Lung. Viola was fortunate enough to retire at the tender age of 42. She stayed home to take care of her youngest daughter Julie, which turned into watching a lot of her grandchildren!
Unfortunately, Viola took ill to Alzheimer's / Dementia, which she suffered through for 9 years. It was hard to watch my mom live through the most terrible disease I have ever experienced. I know now my mom is Happy and at Peace with all are family in HEAVEN!
