Viola Mondragon, 90, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Viola was born on January 15, 1929 in Saguache, Colorado to Librado Mondragon and Julia Mondragon.
Viola is preceded in death by Son, Frank Velasquez, Daughter, Madelyn Almanza.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rosary prayers to follow. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4377 Utica St., Denver. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to in Viola's honor.
Viola is survived by Five Sons, John Velasquez, Eddie (Terry) Velasquez, John (Anna) Velasquez, David (JoAnn) Velasquez, Rocky Velasquez; Daughter, Marilyn (Ray) Rozales. She is preceded in death by Father, Librado Mondragon, and Mother, Julia Mondragon, 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Josh Velasquez, Leha Velasquez, Lincoln Velasquez, Shala Sandavol, Joseph Velasquez, and Douglas Rozales.
