Virginia D. Werner

Virginia Dolliva "Toots" Dahmke Werner; 94. Born in Benson, Nebraska on February 18, 1915, peacefully passed away on November 21, 2009, in Lakewood, Colorado surrounded by family.

She was preceded in in death by her husband George of 64 years, also her sister Lena White and parents Conrad and Myrtle Dahmke. Survivers are her brother William Dahmke and her children: M. Kay Werner Stefan, Gary (Diane) Werner and Marilyn Werner, including grandchildren: Chris Werner (Cynthia), great grandchildren, Zachary and Ava.
Royce Werner (Cynthia), great grandchildren, Mary and Emily.
Jeffrey Werner (Stephanie) great grandchildren Lillian and Melanie.

She was schooled in Nebraska and Holyoke. She married George Werner in Holyoke where they farmed for numerous years. They moved to the western slope of Colorado before moving back to central Colorado. She lived out her last years in Lakewood, Colorado with her family. She was a lifelong committed housewife and mother while enjoying a devotion to Christianity and bible study.
Interment will be at Holyoke Cemetery. Graveside Services at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend services.
