Virginia (Kraft) Morrison
Passed away February 13, in Englewood, Colorado.
She was born Dec. 21, 1929 at Gridley, the daughter of Sam and Esther Esslinger Kraft. She graduated from Gridley High School. She worked at Boeing in Wichita where she met her husband of 48 years, James F. Morrison. After they were married, she lived in several states due to her husband's job with the government finally settling in Arvada, Colorado. They lived there for over 30 years while raising their two daughters, Theresa and Catherine.
Virginia may have lived in a suburb of a big city , but her heart was always in Gridley as she never strayed far from her roots and her love of sewing.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Glenn and John Kraft. She is survived by her husband James and daughters, Theresa Wilson and husband Matt of Aurora, CO and Catherine Monroe and her husband Kevin of Ames Iowa, four grand children, Tyler and Amanda Wilson and Zachary and Brianna Monroe, four brothers, Richard of Tempe, AZ, Lloyd of Gridley, Harold of Fort Scott and Sam of Emporia, one aunt, Emma Ott of Gridley, many relatives and friends.
