Virginia Wozniak was born on March 30, 1928 to newspaper reporter, Maximillian and housewife, Rose Wozniak. The third of four children, Virginia lived in Chicago until 1960 when she moved to Colorado.
Virginia moved to Colorado as a recently divorced mother while caring for her two sons, Anthony and Wayne. Although primarily a housekeeper at a hotel, she often times was forced to work multiple jobs to support her household. It was Virginia's strong work ethic and her faith that guided her through many years of hardships.
After raising her children to adulthood, Virginia moved to Aurora, Colorado. Not long afterward, Virginia retired from her job as a housekeeper and began volunteering with Catholic Charities. She thoroughly enjoyed helping people in need because she knew all too well what it was like to need assistance.
Virginia had many hobbies and interests. She loved to play Bingo and go gambling. She also enjoyed musicals and could be heard singing various tunes almost all the time. Virginia also liked scary movies (her favorite being "Misery") and soap operas ("Young and the Restless").
Viginia is survived by four grandchildren, Jason, Adam, Joseph and Luke. She also has four great-grandchildren. Virginia will also be missed by several of her close friends at Catholic Charities, Fletcher Gardens and the Meadows Mobile Home Park.
