Vivian Alesta East, daughter of LeRoy Jay and Maxine Elnora(Edgington) Frank, Was born at home on August 6th, 1938, in Bucyrus, Ohio. She went to her heavenly home on April 2nd, 2006 at 8:25 am at the age of 67 years 8 months and 26 days. At the age 5, Vivian moved with her family to Commerce City, Colorado, where she attended school and played accordion in a marching band.
In 1959 she married John A. Tomoff. The marriage was short lived, but was blessed with a daughter.
Vivian spent many years working and caring for her daughter, and in January of 1972 they moved to Shawnee, Colorado. On June 21st, 1972 Vivian married John Owen East. They shared a great love and she gladly accepted his children as her own. John and Vivian made their home in the mountains she love Shawnee, Colorado
Vivian had many hobbies and talents. In her younger years she enjoyed doing ceramics, and in her later years she spent hours crocheting angels and bed dolls.
She had many treasured friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She made new friends everywhere she went. She never missed a day of Bible Reading and devotion and never, ever failed to say "God Bless You" to everyone she encountered.
She will be remembered as a strong, loving woman with a warm smile, a tender heart and an amazing faith.
Preceded her in death were her parents and, her beloved husband John.
Left to treasure her memory are her Sister, Elnora(Frank) Kujawski and Husband Leonard of Smithville, TX, Brother, Arnold Frank of Kenniwick, WA and brother, LeRoy and wife Donna Frank, daughter Lolita (Turner) Reinwalt and husband Bob of Inavale, NE, Daughter LaVaughn (East) Shipman and husband Mel of Curtis, NE, Son Melvin and wife Brenda (Phillips) East of Gothenburg, NE Grandchildren, Laurine Marie Reinwalt of Chadron, NE, Brandi Alesta Reinwalt, of Inavale, NE, Lisa Marie (Shipman) Fischer and husband Dennis of Lincoln, NE, Lori Lynn (Shipman) Schmidt and husband Rex of Omaha, NE Levi Owen East of Seward, NE. Great- Grandchildren, Kari Marie, Christopher Dean and Shaun David Fischer. Mackenzie Reed and Jackson Cade Schmidt. Great- Great- granddaughter Macey.

Services will be held at Platte Canyon Community Church in Bailey, Colorado with Pastor Larry Kalb Officiating.
Burial will be at Horn Cemetery, Bailey, Colorado.
A memorial will be established for Platte Canyon Canyon Community Church for all the love and support over the years.
