Walter Eugene Musgrave, 86, of Highlands Ranch, beloved husband, father, and friend, was called home by Our Lord early Christmas Morning.
Walter was born to the late Walter and Lucille Musgrave on December 31, 1936, in Leavenworth, Kansas. Walter graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in 1954, received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1966, and earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1971.
Walter was an engineer and software developer in the aerospace and defense industry until retirement. A quiet and reserved man, Walter loved life and all its joys. He loved Denver Broncos football and Rockies baseball, was a voracious reader, and an avid golfer. A devoted husband, father, and friend to many, Walter was a devout Catholic convert and attended Mass regularly at St. Francis Cabrini Parish in Littleton. Walter was a committed family man who saw the need to care for and provide for his wife and children as his earthly mission. Hard work, attention to detail, and demonstrating strong character were values he lived and inspired in others.
Walter leaves to cherish his memory his loving and committed wife of 55 and a half years, Nancy Marie Musgrave; his children, Brian Paul Musgrave and Jacquelyn Theresa Musgrave; his brother, John Musgrave, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and family members who will miss him deeply.
In Lieu of Flowers please consider making a donation to the St. Francis Cabrini "Heart Beat Project" in Walter Musgraves name.
