Wayne "Terry" Harris, Jr., 66, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on September 13, 2023.
Terry was born on February 14, 1957, to Mary Irene Harris and Wayne Terry Harris, Sr., in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. He was the first child born to their union. He graduated from Rantoul High School in 1975. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he majored in business and was an active Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity member.
After graduation, he worked many years as a sales and marketing representative for Xerox. Terry was a high performer, often making the president's club list. He later worked at Stapleton International Airport in Denver, CO.
Terry was united in marriage in 1986 to Yvette Maire Cook (former wife). Three children were born to that union: Patrick Wayne Harris (Kiona), Trenton Terry Harris (Kayla), and Taylor Marie Harris.
Terry enjoyed fishing on the lakes of Colorado and annual camping trips with his family. He was a kind man with a big heart.
Terry is survived by his parents, his brother, Anthony Harris (Rosie Harris), his sister, Kelly Harris, his three children, one granddaughter, Ixchel Harris, his Aunt, Frances Rackley, and his special friend, Kathryn Penny. Terry leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
