Wendell T. Bottorf, 57, of Lakewood. Passed away July 17, 2008
Husband of Judy Bottorf. Father of Melisa (Tim) Schultz, Brenda (Mike) Bockmann, Tanya (Ryan) Bertram and Amber Bottorf. Grandfather of Nicole Shepard, Jessica Leone, Jamie Schultz, Alex Bockmann, Alexa Bockmann, Alison Bockmann, Shayla Bockmann, Triston Bertram and Calob Bertram. Great-grandfather of Aiden Shepard. Son of Freeman and Shirley Bottorf. Brother of Sandra Erlenbusch, Ronnie Bottorf, Becky Paulson, Tammie Vannis, the late Lonnie Bottorf and the late David Bottorf. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Wendell grew up in Aurora, Nebraska. He worked as a construction worker and entrepreneur. He united in marriage to Judith Ann Sandman on June 24, 1967. The couple was married for 41 years. Wendell had a passion for landscaping, gardening and cooking. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Services, Monday 11AM, with viewing two hours prior, at Newcomer Funeral Home-West Metro Chapel, 901 South Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado 303-274-6065. Services will conclude in the Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
