Willia Dean Smith

Willia Dean Smith, 68, of Westminster, passed away August 28, 2007.

She was born May 14, 1939 in Kiowa, Oklahoma to William C. and Maggie E. (Stacey) Greenwood. Mrs. Smith grew up and attended schools in Florence, Colorado. She married Joel R. Smith on April 19, 1958 in Canon City, Colorado.

Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, Joel R. (Cathy) Smith, Jr., of Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters, Kimberly of Westminster and Deadra Gray, of Denver; seven grandchildren, Ryan Gray, Amanda (Aaron) Baumeister, Timothy, Hannah, Andrew, Daniel and Sara Smith; sisters-in-law, Judy (Bill) Binger, Barbara (Dick) Holmes and brother-in-law, Richard G. Mills, all of Canon City, CO; sisters-in-law Marlene Smith, of Wetmore, CO and Josephine Smith, of Beulah, CO.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; a brother J. W. Greenwood and a sister, Maxine Mills.

Visitation, Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 4:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. at Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel.
Funeral Services, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10:00A.M. at Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Denver Hospice or charity of choice.
