William "Bill" Lui Aki, III, passed away to be with the Lord on March 30, 2020 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
He was born on August 6, 1960 in Florida, the oldest child of William Aki, Jr., and Betty Aki. Bill grew up in Hawaii and graduated from high school there. He then went to college in Iowa where he met his future wife, Linda. Bill and Linda were married on April 11, 1980 in Englewood, Colorado. Three children were born to this union. Bill worked for Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) for 34 years.
Trap shooting and hunting were just two of the many things Bill enjoyed throughout his life. He and Linda cycled along the many trails near their house. He even participated in a 24-hour race a few years ago. Bill's other interests included photography, RC hobbies, and fly fishing. Barbequing and smoking meat were also favorite pastimes of Bill's.
Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda; three children, Katie (Cameron) Aki, Christine (Kevin) Aki, and William; grandson, Nayan; parents, William and Betty; and three brothers, Keith, Dale, and Brian.
A memorial service will be held at a later date
