William Bradley Baumann, 60, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023.
William was born to John and Marie Baumann on January 17, 1963 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
William attended East High School and received his GED from the Emily Griffith Opportunity
School in 1981. He met his life partner, Helen B. Hays, in 1990 and they built a life together in
Aurora, Colorado.
William worked in the hospitality industry, working at many hotels on the Stapleton strip, as well
as being employed at the Denver Athletic Club. In his later years he found much pleasure doing
landscaping work in the Park Hill neighborhood.
William had been a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where he was an altar boy.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching reruns of Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis. William
was a kind, simple man and he and Helen led a simple life. He only saw the good in people and
lived by the philosophy that there was a reason and purpose for everything.
William is survived by his life partner of 33 years, Helen B. Hays of Aurora, CO, His Mother, Marie
Baumann, of Denver, CO, his siblings, Michael (wife Wendy), Be, Catherine, Beverly, Steven,
David (wife Sally), Carrie, and Kenneth (wife Yuka), as well as many nieces and nephews, who he
loved dearly. He is also survived by Helen's family: sister Susan (husband Larry), and nephews
Ryan (partner Kayla) Kaicyn and Alex.
He was proceeded in death by his Father, John and Brother Jim.
