William Henry Ford, 77 of Wheat Ridge passed away on August 8th after a two-year illness. His wife of 46 years, Merilyn, his daughter Patricia (Richard), and sons Tim (Doris) and Scott (Melinda) all from the Denver area survive him. His sister, Dot Farmer of Hartsel and 7 grandchildren also survive Bill. He was born in Sterling and grew up on a homestead at Stoneham, Colorado, later moving to Leadville. He served in the Army during WWII in the Pacific. He thought a lot of Harry Truman, and not as much of Richard Nixon. He was a good husband, a loyal brother, a fine dad and a great plumber. He will be missed by all when we need a plumber and especially missed when we need a laugh, a smile and a good-hearted friend. Funeral services 11:00am Wednesday, August 14,2002, at Newcomer Family Mortuary Chapel. Interment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery,at 12:30PM, Staging Area
