William F. Robinson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on March 3, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on May 17, 1931, in Independence, Missouri, William lived a life filled with joy, resilience, and an unwavering spirit of determination.
While many may remember him for his love of golf, it is William’s warm personality that left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. His journey in life was not only about personal accomplishments but also about building connections. For two decades, he embraced the role of a people person in his work, forging friendships that he cherished deeply. His greatest pride lay in his ability to face challenges head-on; he was a man who truly exemplified the adage that he was "not a quitter."
William found solace and joy in his old motor home, often citing it as his favorite place to be. It served as a sanctuary where adventure met tranquility, and countless memories were made with family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Robinson, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. William is also survived by his devoted children: Christopher Robinson, Kathi Nettle, Carrie Jensen, and Stacie Synovic. His legacy continues through his treasured grandchildren, Rick, Justin, Amanda, Isaiah, Eli, Justin, and Sasha, along with two great grandchildren: Ashton and Shelby who were a source of immense pride and joy in his life.
William's parents, Walter Robinson and Marie Cohen, predeceased him, but the values they instilled in him live on in the hearts of his family. As we gather to remember William, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life of love, friendship, and an inspiring spirit that will forever remain in our hearts. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to shine brightly through the stories we share and the lessons he imparted.
