William "Bill" Wiener

William "Bill" Wiener, age 81, of Arvada, CO, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born on July 11, 1941 in NYC, NY, the son of Blanche (Herman) and Benny Wiener.
Bill was a lifelong educator, whose strong suit was creating and implementing educational programs at both K-12 and University levels. He had a long and storied career, receiving a medal from the Smithsonian for excellence in implementing a highly-rated educational program in a correctional setting. He also received a letter of commendation from President Obama for serving over 50 years in education. On becoming an Anglican Catholic, Bill's dream was to become a priest of the Anglican faith. He was ordained into the Anglican Church in August of 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela "Pam" Wiener; daughters, Kathleen Wiener and Jennifer (James) Wyatt; three grandchildren, Will Propst, Ben Propst and Brian Propst and one nephew, Daniel Wiener. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Mary Propst and one brother, Robert Wiener. Bill will be remembered for being a beloved husband, father, friend and mentor.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at St Francis of Assisi Anglican Church, 3480 St Francis Way, Estes Park, CO. Burial will be held in Iredell Memorial Park Cemetery in Statesville, NC.
