Winifred Votaw

Winifred "Winnie" Votaw, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 103 with her loving daughter by her side. She was born on February 12, 1920, to Robert D. and Ethel Greensweight, the eldest of 3 daughters. She married Forrest E. Votaw on August 31, 1939, and from that union were born 2 children.

She had a rich and varied life that included raising her family, serving on the local school board, entertaining friends and her husband's business acquaintances, traveling, needlework, playing bridge, but most important to her were her responsibilities as a wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her Children Roberta, of Lakewood (step children Brad and Tracy) and John (Jane) of Sheridan, WY, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
