Yekaterina Nepomnyashchaya passed away on Tuesday December 10th, 2019, while resting comfortably in her room.
Katya was born on December 18, 1935 to Olga and Dmitriy Rozhkov in a small village in Russia. She was one of 3 girls out of 4 children.
She finished secondary school and went on to study at an electro-mechanical technical college in Moscow at the age of 16, which she finished 4 years later in 1955 with straight As. After her graduation she started her 1st job and met her late husband Viktor. Katya and Viktor got married in 1961, not too long after they had their daughter Irina. Katya and Viktor were married for 44 years before his passing.
Katya was an expert when it came to fishing, she enjoyed nature outings and loved her family. She also liked to crochet, cook and read novels. She was a wonderful mom and the sweetest grandma. Everyone who met her absolutely adored her. Katya was very kind and selfless, and she valued her family above all.
Katya is survived by her daughter Irina, son in-law Mark, grandson Aleksey, granddaughter Marina, grandson in-law Josh, great granddaughter Abby, step grandchildren Aiden, Khali, Anika and Ethan, niece Nadya and great nephew Vyacheslav.
