Zenaida Ortega

Zenaida (Sadie) Ortega, was 84, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, she moved to Colorado as a teenager. She passed away in her home on October 19, 2022. She was born February 24, 1938, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Zenaida graduated in Las Vegas, NM. She was the owner of The La Lomita restaurant in Denver, Colorado. Zenaida enjoyed traveling, camping, family events, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved crocheting blankets, crafting, gardening, she loved to dance, and was always fancy. She was dedicated to her faith in the church. She also spent time volunteering for numerous organizations.

Zenaida is preceded in death by her father Hilberto Ortega, Mother Dolores Trujillo-Ortega, Sons Gilbert R. Gallegos and Joseph K. Gallegos.

Zenaida is survived by her children, Margaret Ortega (Rick), Maryann McNellis (Dewey), Dolores Gallegos, Richard Gallegos (Elsa), and Patricio Ortega (Sherry). 16 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, Brothers Vicente Ortega (Darlene), Ricardo Ortega (Ester), Fermine Ortega, Gilbert Ortega (Lorraine) and Sister Guadalupe Ortega (Joe). Numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
